When you are vain and have chicken pox, you don't like the mirror, and you HATE the camera!!!!!!!

Hannah keeps telling me I'm vain because I don't like my red dots on my face and don't want anybody to see them. >:( I don't think that red dots are something to be proud of!! I wish now that my mother would have found someone with the chicken pox when I was really little and let me hang with them for a few days!! I'm 14 and just now getting the stupid things! I have more on my face than anywhere else, and they are the itchiest!!!! This is no fun! However, I'm glad that I have got them now and not later! About 21 days ago, my dad got shingles, and he had them in his eye! >.< We got it from him. Poor dad!! Oh well, it will be over with before I know it!

Update

Well, Dad, Momma, and Ivy are in Memphis getting timber for the church building, and we are home waiting for the mail to run. Jane Eyre is the next movie we will be watching! Hannah read the book last year for school, she told me about it, and I think it sounds really strange. I've been doing school (of course) lately, and I'm counting down the days till Thanksgiving break!! It should be 3 weeks and 4 days away!!! I think the High schoolers have to study for midterm in that time while Neo and I get to do nothing for a week! Poor Hannah!  Dad and Neo are going to 8 Days of Hope this Sunday afternoon. Party without the Boys!!! *not* Last night Hannah posted a pic. of a spider on her fb saying,  

I spent last night under the covers breathing Carbon Dioxide! Hannah kept repeating it and talking about spiders crawling all about the room and behind my head!! I felt like killing her!! She is soooo mean!!! Well, I'm going to go clean the kitchen now!

Here is a recipe for how to make silly putty!

• solution of 55% Elmer's glue solution in water
• solution of 16% sodium borate (Borax) in water
• food coloring (optional)
• Ziploc bags

Mix together 4 parts of the glue solution with one part of the borax solution. Add food coloring, if desired. Refrigerate the mixture in the sealed bag when not in use.

Thor. I finally watched it!

I loved that movie!! My favorite character was Loki!! Is this a bad thing? Maybe because the actor who played him also played in Return to Cranford (as William) , I don't know. I cried when he died!! It was sooo sad! If he died then I will sue whomever came up with the story of Thor!!!! *not* Are they making a Thor two? I hope so because that was not a good way to end a movie!! I liked Thor too, but he was a stud muffin, and I don't really like those. . . Anyway, I suppose that's all for now.

School

This week I feel as though I haven't gotten anything done! School really is everything to me right now. I live to get it done in time. I just hope I walk out of this having learned  something. When summer break comes and goes, I am going to miss my friends! Over half the class is moving up to high school and other kids will be moving up to the class I'm in. My dad said I could move up if I wanted to, but I think I'll stay in a class I can handle. I'm ready for summer to come so that there will be more spending time with friends and doing summer things. I also want to get to my 14th birthday. (not sure why) I now see why I didn't want to get a blog, there are to much to keep up with. And since not many people read this thing, I don't see why I don't quit it. Now I don't know what to say! Well, I guess that's all then.

Ah Saturday!

Well, today is Saturday, and I woke up this morning with a Carmel apple practically in my face! :) I got up, fed the turkeys, chicks, and when I got back inside, the little kids were watching Rio. *funny movie* Then the baby woke up, and I had to take care of her while I cooked myself some breakfast. Blueberry pan cakes and sausage. *yumm* When I got though with my  breakfast, I watched the rest of Rio and then did my chores! I LOVE cleaning! I cleaned the living rooms and now I'm pretty much bored! I should be cleaning my bathroom, but I want to wait till everybody is taking a nap so that I can imagine in peace and quiets. Nutty aren't I! Well, I suppose that's all.
